On Tuesday, June 9, 1998, in Modena, Italy, Céline performed at the concert Pavarotti & Friends to benefit the Children of Liberia.
Céline sang "I hate you then I love you" in duet with Luciano Pavarrotti and "My heart will go on".
'Pavarotti & Friends 1998' album features the live performances by Céline Dion, Jon Bon Jovi, The Corrs, The Spice Girls, Stevie Wonder, Trisha Yearwood, and more, singing both solo and with Luciano Pavarotti.
Funds raised from the concert and album sales will go towards building the Pavarotti & Friends Children's Village in the war-torn African nation.

Everything that has to do with children is very important, therefore I think we should all do something; for me it is just normal to take hand in hand and go and meet the world.
