On May 7, 2006, Celine Dion and the cast of A New Day... celebrated their 500th show with a special benefit performance, hosted by Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman. Celine and Rene, presented a cheque for over one million dollars to be divided among 10 Las Vegas area charities. They also held a draw for three grand prizes! On this day, Celine celebrated the 500th but actually it was the 502nd show. |
