TOUT PRèS DU BONHEUR (03:59)

Celine Dion offered to humorist and singer Marc Dupre the only song she has ever composed.
Entitled Tout près du bonheur, the melody was composed in 2000 for Marc Dupre & Rene Angelil's daughter, Anne-Marie Angelil's wedding. Celine Dion performed it after the ceremony.
During the recording of his album Refaire le monde, Marc Dupré asked to Celine the permission to cover the song and record it; the mother-in-law accepted at once.
The song, halfway between rock and pop, has been recorded by the humorist, accompanied by some vocals by the diva.
The album is released on October 18, 2005 at the Spectrum in Montreal, Quebec.

A PARIS

Celine Dion has recorded a new version of the song ‘A Paris’ to mark the “Fête de la Musique” (“Music Day”) on Tuesday, June 21, 2005.
An internationally-known classic by Francis Lemarque, the song is a symbol of Paris that has captured the musical imagination of generations.
In a message to Bertrand Delanoë, the Mayor of Paris and Paris 2012 President, Ms. Dion paid tribute to the city that holds a special place in her heart and the Olympic bid that she is supporting. She declared: “It means a lot to me to support Paris 2012. It is as a French woman at heart that I offer you the hymn A Paris.
Accompanied by a 500-strong chorus, Ms. Dion has given the song a new spirit and emotion.

The song is released on the album 500 Choristes avec... on October 17, 2005.

COME TOGETHER NOW

The song, Come together now, written by Sharon Stone, Damon Sharpe, MarkFeist, and Denise Rich, was inspired by the magnitude of human suffering and tragedy that touched so many lives after the tsunami disaster in December 2004. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina in the USA in August 2005, the song has been used as a combined effort to raise funds for the two global tragedies. The following artists have participated: Celine Dion, The Game, Joss Stone, John Legend, Wyclef Jean, Mya, JoJo, Rueben Studdard, Patti Labelle, Gavin Degraw, Anthony Hamilton, Natalie Cole, Stacie Orrico, Kelly Price, Chingy, Jesse Macartney, The Backstreet Boys, Aaron Carter, Anthony Hamilton, Angie Stone, Lee Ryanand Glenn Lewis. The track was being produced by Mark J. Feist and Damon Sharpe (Destiny's Child, Jennifer Lopez, Mya.) Top musicians have offered their time to play on the track: Steve Lukather on guitar, Abe Laborial, Jr. on drums and Greg Phillinganes on acoustic grand piano. The strings were arranged and conducted by Bill Meyers. The song was mixed by legendary mix engineer Jon Gass. The song is released on Monday, October 17, 2005 during a press conference in Hollywood.

All proceeds from the song will benefit Hurricane Katrina/Tsunami relief. Rebuilding the damage is a journey that will take a long time and the intent is to establish revenue that will continue past the release of the single.

They have documented all the stages of production for the music video and a making of DVD that will also be sold and given to the Charity. Both will be directed by music video and feature film director Bille Woodruff.

The Come Together Foundation is a newly constituted (501 3c) charity with the purpose of collecting all monies raised from the album, DVD and all related merchandising and broadcast rights. The Foundation will distribute the funds to the appropriate charities working in the region.
