  Words that sound
Come'on baby, write me a song
At least answer the telephone
I know well your favorite
Occupation... is to have fun

But I, I need my song
All my telephone lines are ringing
I'm booked for the television
In all promotion shows

What will I do
If I haven't my song
What will I look like?
Hello!
I promised them a number one
I'm in studio tomorrow morning

Write me words that sound
Words that resound
Write me words that give
A meaning to my music
Write me words that sound
Words that reason
Write me words that hit
On the tonic accent

Write me words
Write me words
Write me words that sound

I can go hold your hand
Making you a double expresso - oh!
You must finish it before tomorrow
If not, my planning get into trouble

Give me at least the idea of the refrain
I must make a video - oh!
You can talk about anything and nothing
As long as I have my scenario

Give me just one hour
Of your inspiration
Think about your royalties!!!
Oh! oh!
I must climb at least to the Top Ten
You must think AM-FM

Write me words that sound
Words that resound
Write me words that give
A meaning to my music

Write me words that sound
Words that reason
Write me words right on
With the rhythmics

Write me words
Write me words
Write me words that sound

Write me lines
That swing like Sting's
That sound
Like Jackson's

Words that rhyme
Words that think
And balance

Words that say
What you would say, you
If you had my voice

Write me words that dance
Write me words that sound

Write me words that sound
Words that resound
Write me words that give
A meaning to my music

Write me words that sound
Words that reason
Write me words that hit
On the tonic accent

Write me words that sound
Write me words that sound right on

It must be a number one
It must be fun

Write me words
Write me words
Write me words that sound

Where does my heart beat now
(Robert White Johnson / Taylor Rhodes)
So much to believe in - We were lost in time
Everything I needed I feel in your eyes
Always thought of keepin - Your heart next to mine
But now that seems so far away
Don't know how love could leave without a trace
Where do silent hearts go?

Where does my heart beat now
Where is the sound
That only echoes through the night
Where does my heart beat now
I can't live without
Without feeling it inside
Where do all the lonely hearts go

Candle in the water - Drifting helplessly
Hiding from the thunder - Come and rescue me
Driven by hunger - Of the endless dream
I'm searching for the hand that I can hold
I'm reaching for the arms that let me know
Where do silent hearts go?

I know that out there somewhere
He waits for me
Someone who's searching just like me
Then one touch overcomes the silence
Love still survives
Two hearts needing one another
Give me wings to fly
I hear my heartbeat now
I hear the sound
Hear it echo through the night

I feel my heart beat now
Now that I've found
The feeling lives inside
I've got someone to give my heart to
Feel it getting stronger and stronger and stronger
Hearts are made to last
Till the end of time

Merci! Bonsoir!

L'amour existe encore
(Richard Cocciante / Luc Plamondon)
  Love still exists
When I fall asleep against your body
Then I don't have any doubt anymore
Love still exists

All my years of confusion
All, I would give them all
To anchor myself to your harbour

The solitude that I fear
That is watching me at the end of my way
I'll put it out

To love you once for all
To love you at all costs
Despite that sickness that runs
And puts love to death

When I fall asleep against your body
Then I don't have any doubt anymore
Love still exists

Love still exists...

We were not on the same side
But after all we don't care
If we're right or wrong
The world is leaded by insanes
My love it depends only on us
To love ourselves stronger

Beyond violence
Beyond madness
Despite the bombs falling
Everywhere around the world

When I fall asleep against your body
Then I don't have any doubt anymore
Love still exists
Love still exists
Love still exists...

To love you once for all
To love you at all costs
Despite that sickness that runs
And puts love to death

When I fall asleep against your body
Then I don't have any doubt anymore
Love still exists

Je danse dans ma tête
(Romano Musumarra / Luc Plamondon)
  I dance in my head
The future is planetary
There are six billion humans on Earth
But everyone lives his life alone

Everyone has his habits
Everyone has his certitudes
And love is the worst of solitudes

When I don't care about the Universe
When I don't want to do anything anymore
When life puts me to sleep like a soporific

I invented the formula
That is better than all the pills
Even if it makes me look like a sumnambulist

I d-d-d-dance in my head
I d-d-d-dance in my head
I d-d-d-dance in my head

Even if I'm standing in the subway
Even if I'm sitting at my desk
Every day the same words
The same robot moves

It's enough to become insane
And you, what do you think about that?
It's really enough to become insane
But I, I don't care

I d-d-d-dance in my head
I d-d-d-dance in my head
I d-d-d-dance in my head

Whatever we do or whatever we say
From everywhere they satellite us
They watch us, they compute us

By seeing it so much
I begin to wonder
If my television won't swallow me

Outside neon tubes turn on
All right!
I prefer to watch the moon
All night...
Laid naked on my bed
In the heat of the night

Police sirens
Howl like wolves
I would like as Alice
To fall in a big hole...

I d-d-d-dance in my head
I d-d-d-dance in my head
I d-d-d-dance in my head

Merci.

Calling you
(Bob Telson)
A desert road from Vegas to nowhere
Some place better than where you've been
A coffee machine that needs some fixing
In a little café just around the bend

I am calling you
Can't you hear me
I am calling you

A hot dry wind blows right thru me
The baby's crying and can't sleep
But we both know a change is coming
Coming close sweet release

I am calling you
I know you hear me
I am calling you Oh

Merci beaucoup. Moi aussi, je vous aime. (rire)

(Paul Baillargeon / Eddy Marnay)
  She
She
Was eighteen years old
Hair in the wind
The outline
Of a swan
Opening its (wings)...

She
Sounded
Like a singing bird
And all the musicians
Were looking back at (her)...

She
Had all the brilliance
Of that century
Where the waltz
Was the queen
Where love was the king
In a sky
Of lace
Unreal...

She
Was running her hands
On a harpsichord
And Chopin liked her
And Chopin found her
Beautiful...

She
Only had to smile
To make him write
Listen to
The preludes
He was composing for her

Her
I dreamed of her so much
Talked with her
That often
I imagine I'm
Herself

She
She is my ideal
The biggest star
And I want to
Look like
Her exact portrait
There is only her
And she is
My model...

She
Was eighteen years old
Hair in the wind
The magic
Of the irrational things
They were doing for her
She was the most beautiful
I would like to be... her!

Merci beaucoup!

Starmania!

Medley Starmania
(Michel Berger / Luc Plamondon)
Quand on Arrive en Ville

Quand on arrive en ville
On arrive de nulle part
On vit sans domicile
On dort dans les hangars
Le jour on est tranquille
On passe incognito
Le soir on change de peau
Et on frappe au hasard
Alors...
Préparez vous pour la bagarre
Quand on arrive en ville

Quand viendra l'an 2000
On aura quarante ans

J'voudrais seulement dormir
M'étendre sur l'asphalte
Et me laisser mourir
Stone
Le monde est stone
Je cherche le soleil
Au milieu de la nuit
J'sais pas si c'est la terre
Qui tourne à l'envers
Ou bien si c'est moi
Qui m'fais du cinéma
Qui m'fais mon cinéma

Stone
Le monde est stone
Laissez-moi me débattre
N'venez pas m'secourir
Venez plutôt m'abattre
Pour m'empêcher d'souffrir
Et me laisser mourir

Naziland, ce Soir on Danse

Le soleil brille à Naziland
Sur les buildings de cent étages
I've got the whole world in my hand
Au cent-vingt et unième étage

Ce soir on danse
Ce soir on danse
On danse à Naziland

On danse à Naziland

(Michel Berger / Luc Plamondon)
  Businessman's blues
I'm doing well in my business
I'm doing well in my love affairs
I often change the secretary

I have my office on top of a tower
From where I see the city upside down
From where I control my universe

I spend half of my life in the air
Between New York and Singapore
I always travel in first class

I have my second home
At all the Hilton on Earth
I can't accept misery...

I'm not happy, but I look like I am
I lost the humour sense
Since I got the business sense

I succeeded and I'm proud of it
Actually I have only one regret
I don't do what I wish I had wanted to do...

I wish I had been an artist
To be able to do my show
When the airplane touches the ground
In Rotterdam or Rio
I wish I had been a singer
To be able to shout who I am
I wish I had been an actor
To be able to invent my life

I wish I had been an actor
To change my skin everyday
And to be able find myself beautiful
On a big color screen

I wish I had been an artist
To be able to be an anarchist
And to live like... a millionaire

I wish I had been an artist
To make the world again
To be able to tell why I exist

Merci Michel Berger! Merci Luc Plamondon!

(Germain Gauthier / Luc Plamondon)
  Superman's son
Just like his father
The little Jean-Pierre
Was a fan
A Superman fan

He was collecting
All the cartoons
Where he could see his hero
Fly like a bird

Jean-Pierre should have had eight years yesterday
And his parent were so proud
That they decided to do
For his birthday
A short trip to New York
Superman's town

In their hotel room
On Waldorf's fiftieth floor
The view was so beautiful
That their first evening
They spent it looking
At Manhattan's lights

The day after
They walked on Broadway
Hand in hand
Like in a fairy tale
And in a store
Where they sell everything and nothing
Jean-Pierre's father offered him
A Superman costume

On that same night
He wanted to wear it
As pijama
To be able to dream better
But when his parents
Were asleep
Right beside him in the large bed
He stood up without a noise
He opened the window
And when he saw
Manhattan's lights appear
He wanted to fly out
In the starry night
Like a bird soaring

It's exactly yesterday
That they bore to his grave
Jean-Pierre
Superman's son

Love can move mountains
(Diane Warren)
(Hey trust love)
Love
(Love can move mountains)
Love can move mountains

There ain't a dream that don't
Have a chance
To come true now
It just takes a little faith baby
Anything that we want to do
We can do now
There ain't nothing in our way baby
Nothing our love couldn't raise above
We can get through the night
We can get to the light
Long as we got our love to
Light the way

With a little faith
Just a little trust
If you believe in love
Love can move mountains
Believe in your heart
And feel, feel it in your soul
And love baby love can
Move mountains

Oceans deep and mountains high
They can't stop us
Because love is on my side baby
We can reach the heavens and
Touch the sky
Just believe it, believe in you and I baby
If we got love that is strong enough
We can do anything
We can do anything
'Coz through it all love will always
Find a way

With a little faith
Just a little trust
If you believe in love
Love can move mountains
Believe in your heart
And feel, feel it in your soul
And love baby love can love can
Move mountains

You trust the feeling baby
(Love love can move mountains)
You got the feeling baby
(Trust love)
You needed love
(Love can move mountains)
You got the feeling baby
(Love love can move mountains)

You believe in me
I'll believe in you
If we believe in each other
Nothing we can't do
If we got love that's strong enough
Love will find a way

With a little faith
Just a little trust
If you believe in love
Love can move mountains
Believe in your heart
And feel, feel it in your soul
And love, love can
Move mountains

(Trust love)
You needed love
(Love can move mountains)
You got the feeling baby
(Love)
Love can love can move mountains
(Trust)
Love
(Love can move mountains)
If you believe in me
I'll believe in you baby
We got the feeling baby
(Love can move mountains)
Love will find a way
(Trust)
Love will find a way baby
(Love)
With a little, little faith
(Love can move mountains)
Oh baby
(Trust)
You needed love
(Love)
Love can move mountains
Believe in your feeling
Love, love
You got the feeling baby...

Merci beaucoup... Vous permettez que je m'assoies?

Un garçon pas comme les autres (Ziggy)
(Michel Berger / Luc Plamondon)
A boy like no others (Ziggy)
Ziggy, he's called Ziggy
I'm crazy of him
He's a boy like no others
But I, I love him, it's not my fault
Even if I know
That he'll never love me

Ziggy, he's called Ziggy
I'm crazy of him
The first time I saw him
I fell upon him on the street
I just told him
That I wanted him

It was four a.m.
I was alone and I needed
To talk to someone
He told me: come and take a coffee
And we told each other our lives
We laughed, we cried

Ziggy, he's called Ziggy
He's my only friend
In his head there's only music
He sells discs in a store
He looks to live in another galaxy

Every night, he take me dancing
In very very gay places
Where he has lots of friends
Yes, I know, he loves boys
I should reason myself
Trying to forget him... but

Ziggy, he's called Ziggy
I'm crazy of him
He's a boy like no others
And I, I love him, it's not my fault
Even if I know
That he'll never love me

(Translation by www.celinedionweb.com)

The power of love
(Gunther Mende, Candy DeRouge / Jennifer Rush, Mary Susan Applegate)
The whispers in the morning
Of lovers sleeping tight
Are rolling like thunder now
As I look in your eyes

I hold on to your body
And feel each move you make
Your voice is warm and tender
A love that I could not forsake

'Cause I am your lady
And you are my man
Whenever you reach for me
I'll do all that I can

Even though there may be times
It seems I'm far away
Never wonder where I am
'Cause I am always by your side

'Cause I am your lady
And you are my man
Whenever you reach for me
I'll do all that I can

We're heading for something
Somewhere I've never been
Sometimes I am frightened
But I'm ready to learn
Of the power of love

The sound of your heart beating
Made it clear suddenly
The feeling that I can't go on
Is light years away

'Cause I am your lady
And you are my man
Whenever you reach for me
I gonna do all that I can

We're heading for something
Somewhere I've never been
Sometimes I am frightened
But I'm ready to learn
Of the power of love
The power of love

Merci beaucoup! Bonsoir!

Quand on n'a que l'amour
(Jacques Brel)
  When we have only love
When we have only love
To offer and share
On the day of the big trip
Which is our great love

When we have only love
My love you and I
So that each hour and each day
Burst with joy

When we have only love
To live our promises
Without any other wealth
Than always believing them

When we have only love
To furnish our wonders
And cover with sun
The ugliness of the suburbs

When we have only love
As unique reason
As unique song
And unique help

When we have only love
To dress morning
Poors and brigands
With velvet coats

When we have only love
To offer prayer
For the wounds of the earth
As a simple troubadour

When we have only love
To offer to those
Whose the unique fight
Is to look for the daylight

When we have only love
To trace a path
And force the destiny
At each crossroad

When we have only love
To talk to the cannons
And only a song
To convince a drum

And without having anything else
Than the strenght to love
We will have in our hands
Friends, the whole world!
