'A Gift of Song' Concert (USA)

On December 10, 1997, Celine Dion took part in a concert, "A Gift of Song : A Concert To Benefit The Children Of The World", in celebration of the US Committee for UNICEF 50th Anniversary, held at the Z-100 Jingle Ball Madison Square Garden in New York, USA. The event was broadcast live on TNT. The concert was produced by Ken Ehrlich, Tisha Fein and Ron Basile and directed by Michael Simon. The multi-performer annual concert was sponsored by New York´s Z-100 radio station.

Celine performed "My heart will go on" and "Love can move mountains".

Other celebrities included Shawn Colvin, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Aaron Neville, Chris Rock, Rod Stewart, Aaliyah, Taylor Dayne, Sandra 'Pepa' Denton, Bryan Adams, Mariah Carey, Duncan Sheik, Shania Twain, Sharon Stone, Rod Stewart, Michael Douglas, the Fugees' Wyclef Jean, Sarah Jessica Parker and Simply Red.

On backstage, Celine was photographed with singer Bryan Adams and actor Kevin Bacon.
