On April 30, 1988, Céline Dion won the 33rd edition of the Eurovision Song, held at the RDS Simmonscourt Pavilion, in Dublin, Irlande, with the song "Ne partez pas sans moi". Céline represented Switzerland for the contest.
After winning the contest, Celine Dion gave a little press conference to talk about her victory. She was photographed raising the award along with the song composers, Atilla Şereftuğ and Nella Martinetti.
