On March 26, 2013, Celine Dion was interviewed by Katie Couric who came especially to Las Vegas for the occasion. The taping of the famous talk show "Katie" took place at the Studio at the Palms in front of an audience of 20 lucky fans. The interview was aired on April 25, 2013 on Syndicated channel in USA.
On this episode, they broadcasted an exclusive one-hour interview with Celine. Celine invited Katie into the recording studio in Las Vegas, USA for a candid conversation about her family, her husband´s cancer diagnosis, and shares her brand new music. The Canadian songstress revealed that she not only owns more than 3,000 pairs of shoes ("I stopped counting because I´m not good with math") but that her son, Nelson, puts on his momma´s heels and struts. "You want something funny? One of my sons, Nelson is two-and-a-half and he walks better in heels than me", Celine said. "I don´t know how he does it, but I´m not the only in the family who loves shoes, believe me". Celine´s manager and husband, Rene Angelil also was interviewed. Celine shared with Katie and the audience, for the very first time, a fragment of her brand new song "Water and a flame". At the end of the interview, Veronic DiCaire joined Celine and Rene on the interview. They also broadcast footage from the recording sessions of Celine's upcoming English album.
