Marie-Claude Barrette, Mélissa Bédard, Marie Soleil Dion, Pier-Luc Funk, Marc Labrèche and Gildor Roy hosted the 90-minute program, without commercial break. The event brought together no less than 80 artists, including Lara Fabian, Ginette Reno, Koriass, Sarah-Jeanne Labrosse, Les Trois Accords and, of course, Jean-Pierre Ferland. Together, they sang the song "Une chance qu'on s'a".
