On August 23, 2016, Celine Dion caused a sensation in Schwartz’s Hebrew Delicatessen, on The Main. She made a surprise appearance in the afternoon, greeting and chatting with the staff and diners.
In memory of Rene and to help mark Celine’s summer tour here in Québec, the owners of Schwartz’s and Celine took the opportunity to distribute meals to various charitable organizations dedicated to helping out those in need.
