Taking Chances

"Taking Chances" was written by Kara DioGuardi and David A. Stewart from Eurythmics, and produced by Grammy Award-winner John Shanks. It was recorded in April 2007 and released as the first single from the album.

Tout près du bonheur

(2005) (Marc Dupré & Céline Dion as a vocalist) Celine Dion offered to humorist and singer Marc Dupre the only song she has ever composed.
Entitled Tout près du bonheur, the melody was composed in 2000 for Marc Dupre & Rene Angelil's daughter, Anne-Marie Angelil's wedding. Celine Dion performed it after the ceremony.
During the recording of his album Refaire le monde, Marc Dupré asked to Celine the permission to cover the song and record it; the mother-in-law accepted at once.
The song, halfway between rock and pop, has been recorded by the humorist, accompanied by some vocals by the diva.
The album is released on October 18, 2005 at the Spectrum in Montreal, Quebec.

Je ne vous oublie pas

You and I

The first single from the live album A New Day... Live In Las Vegas, on radio since May 17, is the studio track You and I.

Tout l'or des hommes

"Of course I'm a passionate girl and the people around me is very important, Celine reveals. For exemple, this is what the song Tout l'or des hommes says. Everything I do, traveling round the world, having money, maybe is important, but the main point is having the people you love around you. There is always a part of me which well stands rooted to the spot. My head floats in the clouds but my feet well stand rooted to the earth! 'All the gold in the world, is nothing if you are far from me - All the love in the world is not worth anything anymore, so above all don't change', I love you just like this, I love you for your real worthes."
"It is a song, Jacques Veneruso tells, which came out when I thought about her, yes she is an international star, she have all what we call wealth, but the most important is the human worth and the relation with the others."
First extract from the album 1 Fille & 4 Types, on radio since August 27, the single Tout l'or des hommes releases on October 06, 2003.
The video for Tout l'or des hommes, a road movie conceived by Céline herself, has been shot early in May 2003 in Nevada desert under Yannick Saillet's direction who had already directed the video for Zora sourit. Céline appears as a singer of a group which travels with the hapiness which their music brings them.

I drove all night

The recording of this classic by Céline was produced by Peer Astrom and Vito Luprano.
The original version is recorded by Cindy Lauper on her album A night to remember aired in 1989. A version by Roy Orbison, of whom the song was originally aimed, is aired in 1992.

Goodbye's (The saddest word)

This devastatingly emotional ballad speaks about the absolute love between a child and her mother. Shania Twain does the background vocals.
Céline first heard the Robert John "Mutt" Lange song three years ago and turn it down.
"Now, being a mother, I found the strenght to sing it, she says, but it was hard."
Its lesson?
"Never wait too long to tell someone how you feel."

I'm alive

(Theme song in "Stuart Little II") From the team that wrote That's The Way It Is, this is one of the lighter moments on the set A New Day Has Come; the rhythm is particularly stimulating.
"It's cute, it's fun, it's fresh, Céline offers. You don't have to listen to the lyric to enjoy it."
