Jean-Sébastien is one of the most important violinists in Canada. Jean-Sébastien Carré formed his first band in ninth grade and soon after was playing in local bars. At 16, he devoted himself to his studies, voice, violin and jazz. In 1998, at the age of 21, Jean-Sébastien undertook a tour of Quebec with Mario Chenard, one of the best cabaret singers in the province, a European tour followed.
In addition to playing for Celine Dion, Jean-Sébastien works as a studio musician and singer-songwriter. He co-founded the country group Tempered Steel Union.
Since releasing his album in April 2002, he has performed for crowds of over 30,000 at festivals and has filmed four music videos. In 2001, Jean-Sébastien Carré obtained a contract with a record company and it is thanks to the support of the public that he was able to join the show "A New Day…" by Céline Dion, in Las Vegas in 2002, as violinist, chorister and guitarist.

On December 1, 2008, Celine Dion took part in "The Tonight Show", an American late-night talk show hosted by Jay Leno. The show, taped earlier in the afternoon in Burbank, California, was broadcast on NBC channel in USA. Celine performed the song "My love".
On June 12, 2008, Celine Dion gave a concert at the Waldbühne Forest Theatre in Berlin, Germany, during her world tour "Taking Chances". On backstage, Celine met with Fady Maalouf, a Lebanese-German singer. She also met Jon Mesek and his band, who did her opening act in Germany and Austria.
On March 8, 2008, Celine Dion gave a concert at the Tokyo Dome, in Tokyo, Japan, during the "Taking Chances" World Tour. During the concert, Celine performed a duet with Yuna Ito.
On November 16th, 2003, Celine Dion is at her show A New Day... at the Caesar Palace, in Las Vegas, USA.
