On September 9, 2006, Celine Dion recorded the song "I Knew I Loved You", Ennio Morricone's theme song from "Once Upon A Time In America", with brand new lyrics by Alan and Marilyn Bergman. The recording session took place in Las Vegas with Quincy Jones, Humberto Gatica and Andrea Miller.
The song appeared on the album 'We All Love Ennio Morricone' released in 2007, a tribute to the legendary composer of over 400 film soundtracks.
